Sylvie Tetrault

Sports Holistic Nutritionist (RHN), Strength & Conditioning Coach

Sylvie Tetrault is a Sports Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and Strength Coach, graduating from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor degree in Science Kinesiology. Sylvie moved to Toronto to pursue her passion for strength and conditioning. Realizing that she wanted to have an even bigger impact, Sylvie enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, specializing in sports nutrition. Sylvie has been part of Gary's team for the past 5 years, working with both professional athletes (NHL, MMA etc.) as well as executive clients helping them excel through high-performance nutrition and modern recovery techniques.

Lucas Azeredo-Lobo

Strength & Conditioning Coach, Director of Intern Education

Lucas completed his undergraduate degree at Queen's University in Physical Health & Education (Honors) in 2013. During his time at Queen's he was a member of the Varsity Men's Soccer Team (2009-2013) and was a member of the Strength & Conditioning Internship Program (2010-2013) where he worked as the Lead Student Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Varsity Women's Hockey Team and the Varsity Men's Football Team. During his third year, he completed the Performance Specialist Internship Program at EXOS (Formerly Athlete's Performance) in Phoenix Arizona. Lucas has been a member of the GRHPT since January of 2014.


Andrew Muto

Wellness Chef, Food Director

Andrew (Andy) Muto is a Wellness Chef dedicated to providing fresh, natural food offerings to professional and developing athletes as well as their families. Included in these groups are athletes from the NHL, NBA, Canadian Olympic Teams, Minor Hockey Leagues, Community Basketball and Soccer Leagues and Marathon Runners. As a Food Educator, he inspires people from all walks of life through intimate and interactive food demonstrations by simplifying large sums of information into practical recipes that people can effectively use. His passion for helping people find and enjoy whole, fresh, simple foods makes him an important part of the GRHPT Team.


Jeremie Dupont

Photographer, Social Media Manager

Before joining the GRHPT Team in 2013, Jeremie was an elite goaltender with the Aurora Tigers Junior A (OJHL) prior to receiving a full scholarship to play at the University of Nebraska (NCAA Division 1) for 4 years.

With a passion for nutrition, high performance training and helping others, Jeremie joined GRHPT to help build the program to where it is today. As Business Development Manager for 3.5 years, Jeremie brought expertise in training, nutrition, in-person sales and social media to the team. He not only lived the brand himself but helped grow and promote the "#TRAIN #REFUEL #RECOVER...#PERFORM" lifestyle across the GTA and North America to elite athletes and those simply seeking a healthier more balanced lifestyle.

Jeremie's role has evolved to that of photographer (something he has a great affinity for) although he remains very involved in working with the GRHPT team on the company’s various platforms including Website, Social Media and Training Portal. A great friend of Gary and the Team, Jeremie is often present at key events, camera and phone in hand, passionate about telling the GRHPT story through engaging imagery and captions.


Tara McKay

On-Ice Development Coach

With more than 15 years of extensive experience, Tara’s work with Gary Roberts High Performance Training (GRHPT) includes on-ice sessions with NHL, NCAA, CIS, OHL, Junior, Midget, and Bantam players. Tara also continues to work at the grassroots level in minor hockey with several youth programs from the beginner level up to AAA and runs several youth programs including Weekly Programs, Summer Camps and In-Season Team Training Programs.

Tara McKay is known for her effective teaching style, excellent demonstrations, her ability to identify where players need to improve, and her effective skating drills. Tara leads players through intensive on-ice technical skating and intensive on-ice conditioning sessions focusing on improving skating mechanics and technique for improved power, speed and agility. At the elite level, Tara also utilizes video analysis to enhance learning and accelerate the correction and development of a player’s body mechanics and skating techniques. Video is analyzed and shared with players, making it easier to understand the corrections they need to make, and accelerates their improvement.


Adrian Vilaca

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Adrian has been a strength and conditioning coach for GRHPT the past 4 years. After attending Lake Superior State University (LSSU) for Exercise Science he spent a summer interning at Ottawa Athletic Conditioning Centre, which led to an amazing opportunity with the GRHPT team. A professional athlete himself, Adrian is passionate about helping others maximize their competition performance through specific individualized training. In addition to his work with GRHPT he runs his own health and wellness site, Championship Lifestyle.


Janey Brown

Joga Instructor

Janey Brown is a wellness expert & Performance Mindset coach. Since 2007, Janey has led hundreds of individuals and groups through fitness and yoga classes. She now helps some of the top executives in Toronto and the most renowned athletes in the world discover self awareness, improve confidence, perform at their best and find longevity in their bodies and minds through meditation, yoga and performance coaching.

Janey teaches an athletic brand of yoga known as "JOGA" at the GRHPT program and is ecstatic to be involved with one of the most elite training facilities in Canada.
